I took it to this wonderful small business. They had sewing and embroidery machines everywhere. It was owned by this old couple. The older man took my part I ordered and put right in. I'm super glad I took it to him because he had to get several different screwdrivers to get it open. The machine must have never been opened he said. The tension part inside was super busted too. He said it was a good idea to just replace the whole thing rather than only putting a new dial on. And the crazy thing is he did it for free??? I guess he felt bad that I bought a machine that had a bad problem like that. God bless him. He even tested it for me with three stitches. He told me a couple tips.

Of course I listened to him try to sell me on a new machine, goodness they were incredible. I didn't realize how advanced sewing and embroidery machines were now. You can just put it to embroider names via touch screen. You can even plug in a usb stick with patterns.

I CAN'T WAIT TO START SEWING!!!!

I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around wtf upper and lower thread mean. I guess you gotta have both to get started sewing??? I guess I'll make a Engineer patch at a later date. Won't be enough time now I finally kind of sorta understand what the fuck I'm doing.
